@Squeemin Yes ^^ But its kinda useless ^^ you dont need it really but when 4.0 comes out then i ll start developing apps on it ….. so i have to wait
@CheekyLeoGames cool i’ve been using my dads and i am considering getting myself one the thing is great
both Galaxy and Iconia are upgradable for free to IceCream Sandwich in Jan-Feb 2012
if you are willing to lose some of the screen resolution for the standard USB (you can use it for external HDD or 3G modems or CardReaders or Keyboards ) and gain some weight plus 75 dollars less, go for the iconia …. other wise , go for the galaxy , simple and clear
samsung is definitely one of the best screens manufacturer in the world … however , the comparison is pointless , because they comes with exactly the same specification (Processor , Ram , VGA and SSD) …. the lag and delay in the Iconia because of your mistake , the loading on the Youtube video was also your mistake because you didn’t dedicated a specific speed for each tablet , so when the galaxy started , it took the whole bandwidth momentarily before the router responds to the iconia
Samsung is definitely best, screen is gorgeous
unfair test cuz these are not the same roms
@Squeemin Ok thx =) I finally got the Iconia Tab A500 for Christmas
@CheekyLeoGames yes ice cream sandwich comes out as an update during January 2012 (for free if anyone was wondering)
i think you should so a comparison then… since now the galaxy would win due to its updated os its an unfair comparison
@Squeemin Really o.O
@CheekyLeoGames there would be no point, ice cream sandwich (android 4.0) is coming as an update for the iconia…
VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION CAN YOU GET ON OMEGLE WITH THE ACER!!!!!!!!
@strifeknight I am complately agree with you…!
When the people talk about this one 50 gr lighter or heavier…Makes me sick!
The most imp.thing that tablet enough for you or not?
@7a9rian Ok but only camera and who really uses a camera on a tablet.
@TNAenigma2161
By no means is it faster. I’ve compared them both side by side, and the Acer is very poorly built and sluggish. The Samsung is very well built, and really fast and snappy.
@Lunatiq1 no offense actually much offense where’s your video again?
@Lunatiq1 no offense actually much offense where’s your video
It is Iconia not Icona, pronouced i-co-NEE-a. You own a product you don’t even know how to pronounce it’s name, lol.
Why would you use RWJ as the video? That guy is too fucking stupid to use on an android tablet.
i have the galaxy tab and lets see you try and stream live tv to it got no chance also cant use sky go with the galaxy tab as andriod not available for sky go , even vlc wont work and catch up tv
iconia was faster in opening the camera, he was all along with the galaxy tab, who made samsung the king of tablets? i personally don’t care for the minor differences between those two. i find iconia is pretty much impressive and cheaper. i don’t care about how thin it is as long its working properly.
@MacIsMyLover104 You’ve never felt them next to each other then.
Like “strifeknight” stated. Thats is fuckin rediculious..To say it is huge. It is not huge. It is actually pretty thin. And it has a slight weight to it, nothing major what so ever. You sound like a douche.
Im a gamer and i was thinking of getting this, and what i wanted to know is can run gameon it? (not cod or bf3)
its called a proper review
i would prefer to have 20 mins preview than 2 minutes
its called a ripple
@L0bzZ there are many different versions, this are two of them for example:
MeeGo Version: costs 222€ with 2GB RAM, Intel N570 and 320GB HDD
Windows 7 Starter Version: costs 266€ with 1GB RAM, Intel N570 and 320GB HDD
(prices are from the german amazon site)
You’ve been screwed man. I checked Acer’s website, their Acer D257′s OS is Windows 7
@nelanenalen I know right !
20 minutes too long for small notebook
Ripple
nice review man, thanks a lot. cheers
We HAve Same Netbook but when i Play UberStrike on Facebook It lags!
Not sure if it will fock us!
)
@MsSuperChannel well, on the unit I tested it was the OS that came with the computer. In some other countries though it comes with Windows 7 Starter by default, and only 1 GB of RAM
Im sorry Im kind of confused about one thing (sorry if this is a really stupid question) The thing you were using called “Meego” doesnt come with the computer right? Its a program you have to download? And it operates on windows 7 starter?..
@MAD9711 yes you can. if you’re running windows on it, i doubt they will work with meego
@sdafjkashdjkasgdhvsa no
does it has a dvd drive
