Keep it Simple,
I needed a 19v 3.42A 65w adapter to power my Acer 5250 Laptop while in my car. I tried using a 300W auto inverter with the original laptop AC power supply but this had wires all over the place and the inverter shut itself off when I started my car. For less than $20 the PWR+ Car Charger was the most simple and inexpensive solution I found. It appears well made, and the plug and voltage are an exact match for my laptop.

This Car Charger works for my Acer Aspire 5750 without any problem. Its power connections matches the laptop’s power connection without use of an adapter that would slip off. It takes about an hour for the battery to be charged. It has a power indication at both the DC Plug and its power supply module, so you know if there is power. This is especially important for those cars that removed power from the DC outlet when the car is switched off. This Car Charger goes with my laptop like it is made for it. Do not go for any Car Charger with multiple voltage settings, multiple power connections that cost more. This is the one.
