Wrong, Intel prefers netbooks to be limited to 10.1. However, 12.1 is the largest size for a netbook.

they can make them bigger but the weight really doesnt increase that much so they are still very light and portable just a bit bigger. This is pretty perfect for typing i dont really like my aspire one for typing too small
that 1.5 inches makes a difference. 1.5 more means you feel like it needs it own bag.
The aspire one 8.9 can be thrown into any bag. It is not something to be accommodated.
