   Was afraid that this was going to be a cheap knockoff, but if it is, it’s a great one. Construction seems solid, stickers say OEM from LiteOn (solid company) and heat dissipation is MUCH better than the one that came with the computer. Cord lenght is equal to the old one. Only negative, is that it did not come with a velcro strap attached.

   Overall, I’m happy and I’m tempted to buy another one just to have mutliple cords at all my “work stations” around the house.

   The price was right on this little cheap laptop charger and the quality was sound. The only complaint I have(which is a large one)is that the laptop side connector is slightly too small for my Acer 6930 so is loose causing the laptop to switch between battery and a/c. My laptop lighting diminishes when on battery back up to extend the battery life so there is blinking if the laptop is moved too often.

   If this is the original Acer cord, it sure isn’t made like the original that came with the laptops. We have two Acer Aspire laptops – the original cords lasted almost 2.5 years. These lasted about 2.5 months (with only weekend use). Here we are less than 4 months later and both cords are now unuseable. Both cords almost immediately separated from the wall plug (the plastic tore leaving the wires exposed). Now the wire connections at the laptop plug are shot. At least with the cheap knockoffs, I’m wasting a lot less money.
