AT&T, Verizon End Subsidies on Tablets

The days of walking into ATT or Verizon and getting $100 off a tablet by locking into a 2 year contract are coming to end.  A few weeks ago Verizon put an end to their subsidies on tablet prices for long term contracts, and now with a leaked document hitting Engadget Mobile, it looks like ATT is following suit.  Getting locked in to a 2 year contract on a tablet just to get $100 or so off doesn’t really make sense anyway, especially when you consider how quickly tablet technology, and the market as whole, is moving forward.  All of this means you’ll simply have to pay full price if you want the latest and great tablet computer.
