@timothy17fan The main word in your comment was “adapter” with the iPad everything needs an adapter. By the time I get enough adapters to make the iPad do what even a $99 android tablet does out of the box I could have bought a second iPad.

@Timothy17Fan My cousin likes to capture family photos using her iPad and my one of my friend like to capture portrait using his Acer Iconia Tab A500. And to be honest, my cousin looks like an idiot taking photos using her iPad while my friend’s Iconia Tab when he took photos, looks more standard. Bad english, i know: at least i could understand which one is better

Well the force close is something I somewhat enjoy over Apple just going to home screen without telling me it crashed. Kill some apps and than you won’t have it crash just like with iOS. I like Acer because it is more than a big iPod touch. It works as a computer and not a iPod touch.

Yet another biased review trying to trash the iPad. Complete BS. Also for all the biased reviews, Apple does have an adapter that allows things like hdmi out, and other things. But of course the reviews always leave the truth out.

With such a hudge price difference, far better HDMI support on the Acer, early Android 4.0 updates in January, full usb supprot for standard wirless keyboards, mouse support, game controller support (xbox 360 and bluetooth based ps3 controllers). THe current A500′s and A501 4g’s run Android 3.2.1.
It supprots 1080p video recording sicne Honeycomb was updates to support it. Supprot of usb storage and even external Solid state drives is a plus.

You have confirmed what I was expecting from the Acer.
Having a standard USB port is a big deal because it allows you to add inexpensive hardware like USB keyboards.
From what I have seen at my electronics store you have to get a bluetooth keyboard for the IPAD2 which costs $60.00.

im preffing the iconia though since im not really for the whole price thing nor the social status so that people would notice i can afford an apple here
i got my hdmi, apps, good reso, etc
plus costs less and does what i need it to do
