@subzone1 try to tether it using bluetooth.

Ok, Followed the instructions but it’s not working – My phone is a N900 and I use WifiHotSpot which creates an AdHoc Wifi connection (Wifi “G”) which is seen by my Laptop but the Inconia Tab does not see the wifi A/P.

I have check the forums and there seems to be an inconsistent answer as to whether or not the A500 supports AdHoc Wifi connections – Some people report that they have a successful connection using Adhoc and others insist you can’t use it. So could someone from ACER please clarify!

  6. subzone1 says:

Thank you – Main reason I brought a Wi-Fi only Iconia was I planned to use tethering but could not find a way to do it (Although preferred Blue Tooth) anyway it’s really great to see that someone from ACER is making the effort to help rather than the sell and forget policy most companies seem to adopt these days.
