The very first Android tablets and certainly the only tablet at this point, outside of the new iPad, to have a Full HD screen. With the Tegra 3 Quad Core CPU, mini HDMI and mini USB ports this tablet steps it up a notch and could be one of the first salvoes at the new iPad by an Android tablet manufacturer. We didn’t compare the A700 to anything at the time, or run any intensive tests because it was a pre-production model. When/if the A700 makes it here in its final form, we’ll be sure to test it against the best alternatives
Please any idea as to when this Tab is coming to market? It has everything I want in a Tab and I’m ready to get it now!
How does it compare to the prime?? Also any lag when running lots of apps and having lots of apps on it? How is the camera and screen brightness? Anything you don’t like about it? I appreciate you making these videos and always look forward to watching them.
We’ll get some proper benchmarking done when we get the retail version.
It’s a good point. One has to wonder why notebooks haven’t evolved to this level of definition (with the exception of a high-end models).
I don’t have any official release date yet, sorry. As soon as we find out we’ll post an update.
Ritchy can you do a quadrant benchmark please for this device.
While that is an impressive screen, I thing that is bullshit that a customer has go through so much effort to find a decent, affordable desktop monitor or even a laptop with that resolution when the same companies fall all over themselves to cram it onto tablets.
