I have a HTC evo cellphone and I downloaded a free app that allows me to plug my phone to my computer via usb and have free internet…. meaning I don’t have to pay extra through my cell provide to have internet on my computer. Do you know if this tablet is able to be used in a way that I can download the software and plug my phone so I can have internet on it? I don’t have access to wifi at home or work so my phone is what I used to have internet.

I am getting one for my bday which was yesterday
I want to war people that i have bought 2 of these in only 4 days, not because they were good but because they both broke. I didnt physically damage them at all but after a major update it worked fine, till i turned it off. Immediately the charging indicator light turned off and it just plain died. the hard reset button didnt even work. the first one lasted 3 days and the 2nd one lasted 4 hours, i really am disappointed because i liked this tablet. i just want to warn people.
I HAVENT FOUND OUT HOW TO INSTALL OOVOO for this thing.. plz respond if anyone knows how ASAP… thanks

Had it for almost a month now and I’m completely satisfied. Also the reset button isn’t that hard to access if your finger nails aren’t chewed off or fat. for the price its a steal and ICS works great. Only gripe is the speakers aren’t all that.

you can also consider the Asus infinity 700. it’s also 1920 x 1200 (224 ppi) .. however price is not released yet but it may cost 600$ for a wi-fi 32 GB version .. I recommend it if you have the money if not go for this one (Acer A700) it’s the 2nd best screen in android and it only costs 450$

No Windows 8, But it won’t be long until Acer will release a Windows 8 tablet.

Nope, megapixels are just picture’s resolution.
i agree definfity, though mega pixels would help also right?? 12 mp with a slightly worse lense would be better than 2mp with a slightly better lense
Its about quality of the lenses inside the camera, not mega pixels.
Windows 8 will have some restarted feature that prevents dual boot. If someone cracks it I will so be happy to have windows 8 and Android. But only time will tell

on your website it said the camera is 5MP. good mobile phone cameras are 12MP.. Thats about the only thing that could be improved on this..
man the a500 is great,i cant imagine how great is this a700…
