    @technews336 lol
    That HD Internet sticker is actually from AMD. Its just to say that this laptop can run all internet HD content smoothly, like 1080p YouTube videos etc.

    Is thier an option to get more than 1ghz and how muhcwould it cost?

    @Duorsa I also recommend that you install Microsoft Security Essentials and Anti-malwarebytes. McAfee does fine when it catches viruses but it is not so good on catching them. When I had it running it let multiple Trojans through without any warnings or anything. I have only ever seen one really nasty virus get through MSE and that was something that had to be killed before it started, then removed with Anti-Malwarebytes. Bottom line, these programs actually work.

    @ryandonian believe it or not but i’m on the Acer Aspire One D257 right now! I got it a couple of days ago. It came pre-installed with McAfee antivirus, and when it expires, my phone company has a deal that if your with them and you give them your computer number and go through a few steps, you’ll get free antivirus. So I think i’m good for a while. But thanks anyway, now i’ll know what to do if my family leaves our current phone company and internet plan.

  13. ryandonian says:

    @Duorsa i recommend installing Microsoft Security Essentials on every computer. it is completely free and runs full-time, although you do need to update it and run a full scan every week or so. If you want to be really safe, install Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware too. It isn’t full-time protection, but you can run it whenever you scan with Security Essentials. That’s what i do, and i have never gotten a virus, ever.

  16. technews336 says:

    is the internet pre-installed on this?

  17. Duorsa says:

    @TheJustAsk well I don’t have it and i’m on a budget. Can i get a reliable one on the internet for free? I’ve heard you can, but if I can’t then I may pass on this since it doesn’t have a disc drive. It’s 179, possibly 199 now, it was on sale 20 bucks before, haven’t checked in a while. You’d think since i’m canadian that it would be pricier, but nope.
