    I bought this cord for a replacement for my acer aspire 5532. It worked perfect for about a month. BUT… i left my computer running WAY to long and the brick got really hot. So i quickly unplugged it from my laptop and it sorta sparked, crackled, and died. then the cord part disconnected from the brick. I am not blaming it on the product, partly because of me letting it over heat. So if you want a good replacement charger, BUY THIS ITEM!!! But its not made for over 4 hours of use, Ok? Overall this is a great cord and i mostly recommend it. :-)

    3 weeks after using new adaptor, laptop died. Only 2 years old, was told either process or motherboard. Not sure if this charger caused the failure.
