After Watching my other video to gain perm root on your iconia a500 from acer, the next step is installing clockworkmod and flashing custom ROMS. In this episode of Honeycomb helper i show you the easiest way to get clockworkmod on to your a500. then i demonstrate flashing a ROM through clockwork. I use the new xoom 3.2 port from MDJ and the other devs at the virtuousROM team to show you how to flash. WARNING….Make sure you wipe data, cache, dalvik cache, and battery stats before flashing. Use the acer recovery installer app to reflash stock acer recovery. Then copy a stock ROM to SD then boot to acer recovery. It will auto flash

Hi, I downgraded from the upgraded 3.2 acer a500 to get iconia tab or taboonay on it.
It’s ok, but I like the stock just as good, it runs just as fast and I have most of the necessary permissions, or I can just re-root as stock.
The thing is, I want to go back to the stock ROM. I don’t want iconia tab or taboonay because they glitch a little. How can I totally revert to stock? I just bought it, so I can delete everything if I need to. Thanks.
@17illusive you have to be rooted for the market to show you root access apps. if you tried to root a 3.2 iconia tab it will not work. I am in the process on how to downgrade to get root. in another country may not show in market I just searched and its there.
I cant find Acer Recovery Installer in my android market.. Is there’s a way to download it seperately without going through the market? Thanks..
@kaneda171 there are several custom roms available with 3g dongle support built right in. however it depends on the brand of dongle. huwai seems to be the preffered brand. do a google search for xda iconia forum. then go to iconia development section. that’s where you will find the roms.
